The Citi Thank You Premier Credit Card is all about rewards. Every time you use the card to purchase something, you'll earn rewards points. With a special promotion, you'll earn 30,000 bonus ThankYou Points after $2,000 in purchases within 3 months of the account opening. This is equal to $300 in gift cards.

Other opportunities to earn points occur when you use your card at gas stations, supermarkets, drugstores, commuter transportation places and parking merchants. For every dollar you spend at these places, you'll earn 1.2 ThankYou Points. In addition, you'll accrue one ThankYou Point for every dollar you spend on all other purchases. You'll also gain points on your account anniversary, when you sign up for online statements, for the miles you travel when you've paid for the flight with your Premier card, and more.

For a limited time, the Citi Diamond Preferred Card is offering a 0 percent APR for a full 18 months.

The 0 percent APR applies to both purchases and balance transfers, which starts the day you open the account. To qualify for the 0 percent APR on balance transfers, you must transfer a balance to the card within four months of activation. The balance transfer fee is 3 percent of the amount transferred.

With a current Citibank promotion, you can earn a cash reward when you open a checking account -- $100 with a new regular checking account in The Citigold Account Package or $50 with one in The Citibank Account Package. Opening a Citigold account requires a minimum $100 deposit; opening a Citibank account requires $50.

After you open the account, you'll need to complete some additional steps to receive your reward. Within 45 days of opening the account, you must fund it with $1,000 and complete one direct deposit and one electronic bill payment, each for two consecutive months.
