Between now and 9/30/11, consumers can earn a $200 cash bonus when opening a new checking account at Standard Bank and Trust Co (in Illinois and Indiana only). The bank rewards promotion is available only to consumers who open a new e-checking or a "My Green Checking" account and meet specified criteria (see below).
What is My Green Checking? It's a rewards checking account that offers a generous 2.25% APY rate for accounts with balances up to $25K.
To receive the $200 Free Cash Bonus, account holders must meet the following criteria:
- Must reside in Illinois or Indiana
- Must open a new e-checking or "My Green Checking" account
- Must make a minimum $300 payroll direct deposit for two consecutive months
- Must make at least 12 debit card purchases (non-PIN) of at least $10 each
- Account must be opened by 9/30/11
