This promotion is nearly hidden on their site, but visitors to The Savings Investor have successfully negotiated their online application and are earning a healthy 5.70% on a charity-based deposit.

UPDATE: As of 09-21-07 the rate went DOWN to 4.90APR - 5.70 no more

Will the stated rate be subject to a reduction at the option of Bank of America at any time?

Will the rate offered be subject to a reduction in the discretion of Bank Of America?

Or, is there a set time limit for the rate to stay in effect?
