The Citi Thank You Premier Credit Card is all about rewards. Every time you use the card to purchase something, you'll earn rewards points. With a special promotion, you'll earn 30,000 bonus ThankYou Points after $2,000 in purchases within 3 months of the account opening. This is equal to $300 in gift cards.
Other opportunities to earn points occur when you use your card at gas stations, supermarkets, drugstores, commuter transportation places and parking merchants. For every dollar you spend at these places, you'll earn 1.2 ThankYou Points. In addition, you'll accrue one ThankYou Point for every dollar you spend on all other purchases. You'll also gain points on your account anniversary, when you sign up for online statements, for the miles you travel when you've paid for the flight with your Premier card, and more.
There's no limit to the number of points you can earn and no expiration. You may redeem your points by phone or online, for your choice of gift cards, travel rewards, cash, electronics and the like.
Also, with this rewards credit card, Citi is waiving the $125 annual fee for the first year.
