Editor's Note: These offers expired and are no longer available.
Credit card companies continue to offer attractive rates and specials this summer as banks try to take advantage of the high balances American consumers carry on their favorite cards. Three of the best deals are listed below:
Capital One® No Hassle Classic Cash(SM) Rewards
Issued by Capital One
The Capital One® No Hassle Classic Cash(SM) Rewards card is ideal if you would like to earn cash back on purchases. You'll earn a full 1% cash back on purchases, and a 25% bonus on all cash earned in the previous year. Cash rewards can also be redeemed for gift cards. There is no limit to the amount of cash back that can be earned and no minimum required to redeem for cash. This card has an average interest rate for purchases and no annual fee. This card offers a cash back reward program and an array of platinum benefits and services, which makes it an excellent choice for a cash back reward card.

Pulaski Bank Visa® / MasterCard®
Issued by Pulaski Bank
The Pulaski Bank Visa® / MasterCard® offers an excellent interest rate with the option to transfer a balance. The interest rate is considered very low for a regular card, and it is lower than most cards. The interest rate is also the same for purchases, balance transfers, and cash advances, which is a unique feature and perfect for those that may need some extra cash. There is also an interest-free period on balance transfers for the first six months with no balance transfer fees. The card only provides limited benefits and services, and it doesn't offer a reward program as is often the case for cards with higher interest rates. However, this card does have a low annual fee.

Chase Platinum Visa®
Issued by Chase
The Chase Platinum Visa® is an overall good platinum card that offers a rewards program. You'll earn one point for every dollar you spend, and points are redeemable for cash back, merchandise, travel, and gift cards. The card has a 0% introductory rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first twelve months and a reasonable interest rate on purchases and balance transfers after the introductory rate expires. The card also has no annual fee. There is an interest-free grace period when you pay your bill in full each month, but the card uses a more costly method of computing balances, and therefore, it is not ideal if you plan to carry a balance. The card does offer many platinum benefits including online account access and various travel services.
