TD Ameritrade Promotions - 5.30% CDs and $300 cash

TD Ameritrade is running two interesting promotions. The first allows all customers who open a new brokerage account to qualify for a 90-day 5.30% APY CD at TD Bank in their brokerage account with a minimum deposit of $10,000 by February 1, 2008. Read the fine print here.
The second promotion is a $300 cash giveaway for new customers who open a brokerage account. Customers earn $100 cash when they open a new account with at least $25,000 and either a second $100 by transferring between $50,000 an $99,999 into the TD Ameritrade account or $200 when you transfer $100,000 or more. Customers also receive 30 days of free internet equity trades in this promotion. More details here
